Hollywood is not some monoculture dictating what audiences can and cannot watch. Hollywood gives you what you're willing to pay for. So if you want big, fun, gory slasher movies, take a friend or a date out this weekend and see this big, fun, gory (also romantic) slasher movie. It's how we get more.
