What can I say about Superman that hasn’t already been said? It’s excellent in all the right ways. Hopeful, topical, but still feels timeless. Mr. Terrific is show-stealingly good. Lex Luthor is despicable and menacing. I was hyped for this and it met my expectations. #Superman

Can someone point me toward where WB and DC Studios are handing out the checks to critics for this one? #Superman

Ballerina is an enigma of a film. One that has some definite choices in regards to the plot, but also one that'll warm the icy heart of a press screening of jaded, hateful critics. The action is on point, and of course, there's a flamethrower gunfight. #BallerinaMovie

Disappointed by the delays of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars? Don't be. It just means they're gonna get more time to make the best possible movies.

Much more than just Norm from Cheers, George Wendt also brought the house down in House (1985), Fletch (1985), and the criminally underrated VFW (2019). One of the funniest guys on screen. RIP

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning overcomes bloat, a terrible villain, and some retcons to deliver some trademark action, and of course, Buster Keaton-level stunts from Tom Cruise.

Esai Morales is WOEFULLY miscast as the villain in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning and the previous part. This series needed a big bad for Ethan Hunt to go up against, not Snidely Whiplash twirling his mustache with vague motivations. #MissionImpossible

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is a spectacle, a gigantic set piece, that is a cinematic feast for the eyes. There’s plenty of stakes (possibly too much), but this one still sends the series off with a bang. Cruise is on another level from a stunts perspective.

Goosebumps were a rite of passage in the 1990s for kids in school. These days, most of the books aren't too terribly expensive and rare, but these "Unreprinted" copies are quite expensive. See them ⤵️

Horror movies and cameos go hand-in-hand. Since the dawn of the genre, we’ve had plenty of great cameos. Carrie Fisher in Scream 3, Bill Murray in Zombieland, but what’s the best one? ⤵️

Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives is among the most important horror movies ever made. Why? Well, let's dive in starting with the fact that we wouldn't get Scream or any of those self-referential 90s slashers without it. What else? ⤵️

Wick Is Pain goes through the miraculous nature of the John Wick series. It’s a fascinating look at the stunts, emotion, and the entire series. It’ll leave you saying “fuck yeah” and loving the creatives behind this magical movie franchise. #WickIsPain

Eli Roth's next movie is an original idea of his called Ice Cream Man (not to be confused with the Clint Howard 90s horror film). We'll have to see where Thanksgiving 2 fits in with his schedule, but Roth promises this to be his most insane movie yet.

You might get asked "what are the six things you'll grab if there's a fire". It's usually a joking question, but I actually know the answer to that question now.

Tony Todd’s scene in Final Destination: Bloodlines sticks out as an incredibly emotional one. It’s kind of a perfect sendoff for the man we all have loved over time in all his roles. Really respectful and well done. #finaldestinationbloodlines  #finaldestination  #bloodlines

Final Destination: Bloodlines proves that death is always a winner. Tony Todd’s scene is incredibly poignant and emotional. The kills are glorious and inventive and shows that this concept still works well for movies. #finaldestinationbloodlines  #FinalDestination  #Bloodlines
