The bloated pickup truck really does perfectly represent the US right now. It's "powerful," in a blundering, thoughtless way that hurts innocent bystanders, but it's antiquated, fits poorly in modern cities, and above all *screams* defensiveness & overcompensation.

The US is all talk about Greenland. Fact of the matter is, the treaty of 1951 with Denmark in reality allows for whatever military presence the US may deem necessary at any given time. Reality? The US cut back its involvement to 1 base and 150 soldiers. Meanwhile, US arctic capabilities suck...

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.
