The number of people in my *real* life sending me anti-vax nonsense trying to disuade me from vaccinating my children is not zero.

The audacity to say "don't let your kids get a life-saving vaccine, let them get *insert horrifying illness* instead" is WILD.

Your finest and most ferocious "ew".

#Covid19 is only "seasonal" if you mean "the season we decided to care about it" and "the season we pretend it's not still infecting everyone".

It doesn't go away just because everyone was bored of it.

And why on Earth are ERs still unmasked?! Why do staff think flimsy surgical masks cut it?!

"We have to learn how to do math."

(Proceeds to do no math, refuses to talk about math, and insists it does not exist).

(You see how that makes no sense, right? If your goal was truly to do math.)

The #USA strawberries are $2 this week for a container that's usually $7-8.
We bought the $7 grown in #Canada berries instead.

5 years ago today, March 11, 2020, the #WHO declared #covid19 a #pandemic.

Starting the 6th year, we know pretending things are "over" is silly.

#DougFord campaign website has a link to "covid-19" resources that just goes to the government's page for people to "get mental health help".

Pardon?

The is unacceptable denialism.

The #tariffs may be delayed, but we will still #BuyCanadian
And #Ontario should still terminate the #Starlink contract. That is all kinds of a bad idea. No thanks, eh.

Oh, this is terrible. Hospitals were developed as places to give birth because of all the preventable things that can (and do) go wrong. I know midwives are in short supply too.

"Oh, we can't expect them to mask every time they come to provide care."

Yes. We. Can.

Moreover, we should. I expect them to wash their hands every time it's necessary. I expect adequate respiratory precautions.

It's against best practice to fail to act when we should.

Another reminder:

Respiratory infections spread mainly through the air. That’s why they affect the lungs.

Masks, worn correctly and consistently, reduce the spread of respiratory infections.

Respirators work better than masks.

Washing hands isn’t wrong, but it won’t stop airborne transmission.

Oh dear.

This is...infuriatingly obvious. Infections and shortages decrease with respirator use...but, for sure...don't recommend the one thing that would help.

Wear. A. Respirator.

It's despicable to attempt to remove FDA approval for vaccines. Especially #polio.

A whole generation has forgotten the terror and suffering and death these preventable illnesses bring. Moreover, the guilt that the suffering is preventable. Choosing foolishness over science.
