I need a lawyer smarter than me to craft an opinion that if DofEd dies, so do my student loan notes.

Why is everything, "you've never seen anything like it"? He even said it about what is happening with the "Biden" economy. Like, what about the GREAT DEPRESSION!?! Not everything is the most extreme with you, dude!

Looks like we have even bigger issues. Yikes—the Trump administration is becoming a Russian sympathizer, spreading misinformation about Ukraine. Trump won’t even stand up to Putin, essentially telling him, “Do whatever the hell you want.”

Trump's foreign policy logic of "ignore the cause of destruction; you don't want this destroyed territory" is fundamentally the same policy of child support. Typically, just calculate CS on the present situation, even if someone got the shaft previously. Maybe that works in child support. Not wars.

Last night, the Trump administration stated that it would not fire probationary employees. However, layoffs of probationary employees have already begun at several offices, including the CFPB, OPM, and GSA, and are still continuing today.

I don't know how requiring in office work is supposed to retain your best of the best. Everything going down does nothing but run out those public servants with lots of options. Who you gonna hire then? People who love to be micro managed by an admin demanding unreciprocated loyalty?

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

I know pointing out hypocrisy doesn’t matter anymore, but if there’s one person I wouldn’t want to be the judge of who goes into locker rooms, it would be the man who openly boasted about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls

Absolutely. Grind it to a halt.
Murphy: "We need to act like a real opposition party in the middle of a constitutional and democracy crisis. That means we should not be moving forward nominees or legislation in the Senate. Ds should not be giving votes to nominee or legislation in the Senate until Rs get serious about this crisis"

Not that one needs more than the 14th to demonstrate birthright citizenship is a closed case, but the preamble literally says the constitution is for "our posterity."

Me: "Not that I know of."
