The New York Times **HAD EMAILS IN ITS POSSESSION** tying Donald Trump directly to Jeffrey Epstein's global elite pedophile cabal conspiracy –– in the middle of a 2016 election where a global elite pedophile cabal conspiracy was a HUGE topic –– and they didn't publish one word it for a decade.
Congrats again, everyone

Things get a lot harder once you actually have to make decisions, rather than just post abt them. Ppl would do well to remember that adults + children were without food + pantries were sending out an SOS bc there was no way they could meet demand. But sure, run a DSA candidate in a purple district.

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

It is easy, for those of us with paychecks or resources, to crow about fighting and winning. When the casualties of your efforts start to pile up, people hungry, getting ready to be evicted and depressed toward suicide, it is important to ask if this is YOUR fight or if you are fighting for them.

Republicans in the Senate CAVED! They demanded a "Clean CR" and they gave in to dems on key demands. RIF'ed federal employees get their jobs back, no more RIF's during future shutdowns, SNAP funding restored at HIGHER levels, and there will be a vote on ACA subsidies in the coming weeks.

Through the luck of the draw I’m not dependent on SNAP to eat and so one thing I’m not going to do is sit under my roof with a full belly and demand the shutdown go on indefinitely. And stop screaming about Dems caving and being cowards. You and I have NO idea what’s happening in private.

Something to read and be transported to a different time.
The moniker "troubadour" stirs the modern imagination like no other Medieval vocation. A smart new book offers concise studies of some of the most famous troubadours, offering thoughtful observations on poetic style alongside vivid descriptions of the historical context that shaped the tradition.
