Working in Child Welfare. Used to work in IT and Lighting Design. I like playing music, karate, and knitting. Not one of the knowers who knows things. But I am thoughtful and opinionated.
Really not surprising if you have been an outsider looking in (not over educated, not part of the "mainstream" news or political coverage). The NYT has been biased and irresponsible for at least 2 decades. And been a lousy local paper for 2 decades before that.

Because the people who own the media were all at Epstein's island, on his plane, and inside all the girls he brought to them.
November 12, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Yes, but is it really surprising?

Uhm. Duh? Like anyone not invested in the established world of "legitimate" news could have told you the NYT was a shill for the oligarchy years ago. Also. The Epstein files will touch every. man. of. wealth. and power. since 1980.

Shame he didn't stay in his original party and piss on them.

Very biased coverage. Against Dems and progressives.

Things get a lot harder once you actually have to make decisions, rather than just post abt them. Ppl would do well to remember that adults + children were without food + pantries were sending out an SOS bc there was no way they could meet demand. But sure, run a DSA candidate in a purple district.

Wow Molly Katzen blocked me! OK then. She has the right. I suppose I got upset. But rich liberals complaining about the Dems when they protect poor and working people has always bothered.

Anyway she won't see this. And maybe she's not rich.
November 11, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Yeah. I'm kinda disappointed in a lot of them....
November 10, 2025 at 11:58 PM
BYW you guys rock with articulate coverage, thx!
November 10, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Woohoo!!!!
November 10, 2025 at 11:56 PM
The bad people are the Republicans who care not. At least the Dems, including Schumer, are trying to govern and ensure citizens are provided for. Have you even looked at the content of the CR?
November 10, 2025 at 11:55 PM
No we deserve Democrats who are willing to stay united and not start intra party fighting. The time for new leadership is the primaries, not while there is an external threat. Keep your ire on the actual enemy.

And as is often the case in an abusive relationship, the victim is blamed for not making the abuser stop.

The Federal Workers Union is a strong loyal support for the Dems, more so than all the screechers on Blusky. And the mentally ill, disabled, and children of the poor have no one to advocate for them. The former need jobs and the latter need food.
November 10, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Yeah so in the same breath let's talk about how the Dems are shite because they are trying to actually govern not engage in political theatre.
November 10, 2025 at 7:57 PM
I'm the Dem base and I'm not pissed off.
November 10, 2025 at 7:55 PM
Thank Maddow. Can always count on you to be part of the circular firing squad. Don't talk about the wins in this CR, just the loses. But hey you don't represent federal workers or under resources folks.

A great job of making himself unpopular and turning people against him I mean.
November 10, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Uhm yes. The problem is with the party that converted the Christians to Fascism. And Nixon only got into power because single minded anti-war folks pushed out LBJ, the person most likely to make things better. Don't kick your allies in the teeth. And try to look outside your single issue.

I disagree. I think they played this very well. They did get conceptions. There are a lot of people who needed to get SNAP benefits and get back to work. And we have yet to see how the house handles this. I believe some of these senators were reflecting what their constituents wanted.
