Genuinely excited about the result of this bowl it feels like a culmination of my learning process since I picked up pottery over the summer. After struggling to be creative and make art for so long it feels good

I learned a valuable lesson about why my glaze had crawled off the rim or left spots of glaze that ran off parts of the mug, it was because I didn’t wipe the dust off the pieces after I sanded. Good news is the kiln master said I can spot those areas with glaze and refire them! *fingers crossed*

I’ve recently taken up pottery as a creative outlet and I really love it. I took some classes in undergrad but it’s been ages so I’ve been taking hand building classes. Here are some slab built cat bowls I’ve made for all my cat lady friends. I’ve made about 14 so far w one kiln mishap so not bad :)

This is EXCELLENT.
1) this is spot-on analysis of the problem & a great immediate 1st thing a city can do to improve outcome.
2) as a 2 min clip? He's giving history, hope & change. Speaking to women, to Jewish & Black NYers, saying "abortion." & also naming eugenics in feminism. 100/10 no notes.
