Amidst the chaos and the law-breaking the most important thing to remember/focus on is that they are doing these things illegally because they know they don't have the votes to do it by passing laws, even in a GOP controlled Congress.

I hate that Trump is going to claim he gets a "win" here, even if it turns out he didn't win a single concession.
But I would hate far far more for tens of millions of people in the USA, Mexico and Canada to be harmed by any tariffs. Trudeau and Sheinbaum are doing what they need to avoid that.

What a weird thing to hate. Also, wouldn't it be really cool if we could solve the root problem so these kids didn't have to struggle w funding to be fed? Oh, a girl can dream...
8-ish years ago I got strangers to pay off $300k in “lunch debt” so kids who were being punished for owing money could do things like eat, go to prom, and, walk at their own graduation. In the 20 years I’ve engaged in social media, I have never received more hate for anything else I’ve said or done.
