Arguing against fascism w/the facts of biology, climate science, medicine doesn't change anything. Fascism is motivated by the want of power, unchecked. It's not influenced by facts, unless those facts serve the goal of power. I hope we see less of the thinkpieces and more community building, asap.

Yesterday I saw someone asking for a flautist or recorder player and I was going to reply but forgor. So if you happen to see this, I play the flute and would be happy to play!

I need faces and voices please not a few sentences in the same font. It feels so much more dissociated from actual people here
Written blurbs just don't hit the same as people's faces and voices and silly mannerisms. I like it here but I felt more real there

The crisis in November was bad but it was made better by community on TikTok. The crisis right now & support system being taken away doesn’t feel the same.

TikTok had a massive community of #ActuallyAustistic people, likely the largest autistic community in the world ever. It included all ages and speakers and non-speakers.
It also had a large chronically ill community.
The potential loss of community for many otherwise isolated folks is significant.
