Ooh- a new word to play with!
Still trying to use the word "overmorrow" as much as possible in daily life since finding out it means "the day after tomorrow".

Overmorrow it is likely I will be found walking on a rain-blasted moor, deep in thought, then purchasing lightbulbs from B&Q & shopping around for cheaper car insurance.

The Off The Beatson Track fund raising event is passing our wall today, and as always, we'll be out supporting everyone who's taking part! If that's you, make sure you say hi as you pass us! We're on the Kelvin Walkway just beyond the Botanic Gardens.

Last week, we were out & about talking to the public in Glasgow!

At a time when hostility can feel overwhelming, it was deeply heartwarming to hear how much love, compassion & solidarity is out there.

The message was resoundingly clear: Refugees are welcome here! 🧡

IMPORTANT THREAD, rounding up some of my best recent sheep photos.

1. A morbidly inclined sheep, who likes to hang around in graveyards, detests parties and owns original pressings of the entire classic run of Leonard Cohen LPs from 1967-1974.

LOTS of great records I’m selling. Mostly originals. Lots of duplicates of things I love. I’m going to do this as a thread, with info on each below, but do let me know if anything takes your fancy. I’m not giving them away but will endeavour to sell for better than going Discogs/eBay prices.

Let's talk about these two department store owners: brother and sister Louis Bamberger and Caroline Bamberger Fuld. From Newark, New Jersey.

They are random people, basically. But in the late 1920s, with fascism taking over Europe, they made a choice that profoundly changed the world: 🧵

This sums up the dilemma quite well. This applies equally to books for me as well. Unfortunately, it also applies to other forms of physical media, and all manner of other collectibles & memorabilia 😳 Erm, spring cleaning awaits 🤦🏾‍♀️ #FirstWorldProblems

New Gist: Trans rights are Data rights

An unusually long Gist on the data protection implications of the UK Supreme Court's decision to define what is the meaning of the word 'woman' in a single UK Act.

(Also: the CJEU, colonialism, Joyce's Ulysses and Sinn Féin)

The Gist: Trans rights are Data rights
A UK court has made a decision defining genders which has put it at odds with a less noticed, more important, decision from the CJEU. This is the Gist.
