Political activist here - this is compliance in advance and the opposite of what you should do.

Flood the feedback, replies, and CEO/mods BlueSky pages with outrage about the changes. Post loudly about it.

Get LOUDER. Silence is compliance.

if you want to help yell at Bluesky over the TOS, this thread has a lot of helpful info on options you can take!
Do NOT believe the misinfo going around

There absolutely have been MASSIVE TOS updates

Most notably:

1) Specifying no FICTIONAL noncon
2) No "dangerous" kink
3) No DISCUSSING self harm, suicide, or substance abuse unless its "educational"

So what can we DO about it?

1. It's run by a fascist.
2. It's designed to anger you. Have you seen how people talk to other people on there!? I'd really rather not.
3. I'm well aware I could keep posting there and get 'numbers' but what's the point!? Have some personal morals. I know it's hard in the modern day, but try.

Just checked something, and what.
Not only does Apple charge Patrons EXTRA, but transactions take 75 days after purchase to become available for withdrawal?

Anyway, support creators through web browser, NOT app.

Jesus.

it really is all about resegregation.
A teacher in Idaho has been told to remove posters reading "Everyone is welcome here" - specifically because it features different skin tones. As I wrote last week, this is a global political movement that has explicitly set the goal of eradicating the very concept of equality.

Sarah Inama said she was told by administrators that her signs “don’t allow people to express differing opinions.”

I love art and creativity.

If you are an artist, remember that you have full control over your ideas, take the time to illustrate them and inspire others.

This is dedication and hard work.

Never forget this and in this bad period, remember we are all together and in solidarity. KEEP GOING!

Ya'll, the Grok update is actually SIGNIFICANTLY worse than just summarizing your Twitter account. My twitter account is locked and private, but I typed in "Summary of @TierganVashir" into Grok and it found info on me from 25 other websites including Tumblr.

wikipedia is geniunely one of the last pillars of the internet in terms of our ability to actually gather and archive information. Musk knows this and wants to control it because he is exactly the same as every other billionaire. It genuinely cannot fall into his hands EVER.
Due to this idiotic statement, by a person who has proven his inability to distinguish truth from online propaganda, I just donated to Wikipedia. Please do the same.

If you've never donated to Wikipedia, now's the time. Elon Musk is attacking it because it's one of the only sources of honest, curated information that he can't control.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.
