I'm here to tear new ones and eat ants. And I'm all out of ants.

Otherwise, a science enthusiast and an amateur artist on the autism spectrum who loves to keep interesting specimens.

This image sums up my whole deal; I am an amateur artist that likes to illustrate various different creatures, like stone-age aliens with four sexes, elephant-seal-like post-human fauna á la All Tomorrows, or Giant Blue Anteaters with a grudge against deforesters.
Microsoft Sam has an important message.

If people ate up the How to Train Your Dragon remake... what confidence is there to have that people wouldn't also eat this redundant slop up?
First look at Hei Hei in the live-action ‘MOANA’ remake.

Lol, this reminds me of “Demonic Furby”!

Somebody shared with me on Discord my most popular post on Twitter before I left there in November last year, preserved in an Instagram post.

It's about volar pads in human fetal development and their apparent homology with toe beans in other mammals.

I'm crying. Like, I'm SOBBING! 😂

NOTHING in my life has made me feel the way I do before this! 🤣

When I first saw this, it HAD to be fake. It HAD to be some kind of joke, or even satire unhelpfully passed as truth as is common on social media.

Then I read up...

I... fucking... 😶

Prepare to be amazed when people aren’t aware that generative AI scrapes other people’s stuff — writing, art, photography — and believe that it’s some magic, self-contained machination rather than a statistical bullshit generator.

Abolish the damn Senate. Uncap and vastly expand the House.
The Best Way to Fix the Senate? Abolish It.
It’s a profoundly antidemocratic institution. Why do we put up with it?

CHUCK SCHUMER, TAR AND FEATHER!!!
I keep seeing regular Americans taking more risks every day to fight tyranny, want, and cynicism than I see from the opposition party, and I imagine many of those regular Americans are asking themselves what the value proposition of such an opposition party is, really

Per the latest Infernals dev diary, Mycons have hope yet.

This portrait, the best fit for the Mycon, can adopt the Volcanic Nesting civic, allowing their homeworld to be a volcanic world as proper even while not being of the Infernal species type.

Now let's see if they can do Hyperthermia...
The very first thing I did when I started playing Stellaris was recreating the Mycon from Star Control. With the Infernals DLC: "Finally! The Mycon will get the lore-accurate treatment they deserve!"

But not only can this portrait not get infernal traits, they did not make a fungoid infernal...

This lizard waved at my general direction. I wanted to think he waved at me — but he may have been waving at his reflection instead.

Incidentally, he later laid a large droplet of lizard urine that immediately absorbed into the concrete before taking off.

I had an acquaintance ask me how I was able to find all the insect fauna I was photographing years ago. You just have to keep an open eye with a curiosity for the natural world up close around you, and you’ll find all sorts of interesting little critters. 😉
part of the pitch I try to make in outreach is: sure, rainforests are great but you're standing on an equally amazing local ecosystem if you take a couple minutes to look down at the bugs

Uranus completes its revolution around the Sun every 84 years. So too has this massive asshole.

Rest in depleted uranium, you vile sack of scum. Your legacy of a million dead Iraqis, horrible birth defects in Fallujah, and the ultimate creation of ISIS will never be forgotten.

So there were some AI-generated videos that purported to show Black women ranting about SNAP benefits, and... Fox News is reporting on this like these are real people. They're not! They're AI!
