Message to the Democrats for '26: stay away from the AI bubble! If you hitch your wagon to Silicon Valley, you WILL get caught in the blast when the bailouts begin. The time to get on the side of the people is RIGHT NOW. I'm talking to you, Gretchen Whitmer and Josh Shapiro.

Happy Saturday fam! Came across this on LinkedIn and thought I'd share it here. If you're worried about food this month or know someone who is (are there ANY of us who aren't in one of those categories?) please share this.

Dow Jones, 1920s vs 2010 - 2025. I'm just gonna leave this here.

Good morning fam! The last day of vacation brings a sadness, but also a longing for home and our kitties. Even tho it's touristy, there are few places in the world as beautiful as the beaches of the Florida panhandle. We shall return!

7/You'll rediscover the friendship that brought you together in the first place. And most importantly, you're showing your partner that your relationship is IMPORTANT - and that they're IMPORTANT. And remember, as Ann and Nancy said: "if you love me like music, I'll be your song...". 🎶❤️

6/If you do this once a year (twice if Poughkeepsie), you'll find it SUSTAINS your relationship. You'll have inside jokes and memories that only you share. Take pictures, sure, but you're not filming a documentary. Believe it or not, it's OK to have memories that live in your head and nowhere else.

5/One piece of advice for couples, new and established: find something and make it YOUR thing, together. It doesn't have to be a vacation, it could be an overnight stay in Poughkeepsie. What makes it special is that it's YOURS. And when you go, shut off the world - phones, kids, jobs, EVERYTHING.

4/In addition, we've been feeding the same (semi-) feral cat since 2022! Please don't take this as some kind of wannabe influencer brag. We squeeze nickels til the buffalo shits all year to make this week happen (and our lodging is significantly reduced, thanks to my boss), because it's our thing.

3/We stay on Mack Bayou, where you can see everything from pelicans sunning in the yard to dolphins carousing in the water, to the most beautiful sunsets ever (our wedding spot too). Honestly, my goal in life is to somehow make enough money to own a piece of it ourselves.

2/Summer is a different story. If St. Louis is Satan's armpit, you can guess what FL feels like (and if you're by the bay, kinda smells like). But October? Fam, it's highs in the low 80s, and lows in the 60s when mama and I are having our morning coffee. And the breeze from the ocean is Heaven.

1/Good morning fam! Sorry to be away so long. BSky feels like a secret garden of friends after weeks pumping my new biz on LinkedIn. Suzanne are on our annual anniversary vacation to Santa Rosa Beach, and I have to say, I've been few places as beautiful as FL in the fall. The weather is perfect.

Things have been so hectic lately, I hadn't even had a chance to celebrate a BSky milestone, 4k followers! It may not be much in the world of social media, but to me it's pretty awesome. The town I grew up in didn't have 4000 ppl. I love interacting with all you guys, and much love fam! 🫶

1/Good morning BSky fam! Paying tribute this morning to my father-in-law Bill Loebig who passed away last Friday after a long battle with dementia. I tried to put into words who he was and BSky is just too constrained, so I'll just say I respected him tremendously and considered him a close friend.
