It should be bigger news that masked agents were filmed hours ago removing potentially inculpatory evidence from the ICE shooter's house, clearly lacking evidence tags or chain of custody stickers.

Before we have word on whether he underwent a toxicology screen at the hospital following the killing

ICE's use of force policy released under FOIA was almost completely redacted until it was accidentally released in court filing un-redacted. Read the full document here: www.kenklippenstein.com/p/exclusive-...

Contempt Is the Foundation for the War on Trans People — Assigned
Bred on social media platforms and legitimized by mainstream outlets, the language of contempt for fellow human beings endangers us all. Trans people have been the early targets.

Multiple international crises with Trump taking a Russian Flagged ship, threatening to take Greenland by force, and kidnapping a foreign head of state. Now, CBP murdered a US citizen in Minneapolis. We aren't even a full week into 2026 and it's one horror show after another.

1. Trump's recent pending rule change and a letter from HHS Secretary Kennedy threatening hospitals is resulting in hospitals ending trans youth care.

Many trans youth are now forced to go without their medication.

The threats are having a real impact.

Dear @nytimespr.bsky.social. Your press release re comments I gave to @transnews.network includes many errors but one assertion is true: “TNN featured an interview with a former editor on the International desk at The Times who was not involved in these coverage decisions.”

That is the problem

No more strongly worded letters. It’s time to draft articles of impeachment.

This is the "testing the waters" phase of the playbook. The GOP ecosystem targets groups like Somalis, Haitians, and trans people specifically because they've calculated that the average person's passive disapproval won't ever turn into active defense. They're exploiting public apathy.
i'm really having a hard time getting past the "surely we can all agree that Somalis are worse than trash" thing. this feels new and very bad
