TIL that MP4 file format is NOT PUBLIC and you need to pay $100 to have access to the official specification.
Not to mention that 90% of modern video codecs are protected by patents, so even if you access the specification, you have to pay the fee.
How did we allow this to happen to computers?

I generated a Sonic Generations 2024 .awb from a Sonic Generations 2011 .csb/.cpk combo and got it to play in-game today!
Everything works correctly, except for looping. For whatever reason, even though the correct loop point is still specified in the .acb, looping doesn't work.
Gonna fix that.
