And personally, I think James Cameron really needs to interrogate his treatment of feminine beings within his movies. The Abyss, Aliens, Titanic, Avatar; they’re all kind of weird white versions of Tyler Perry romance plots.

Varang is described as a sorceress. I’m intrigued but I’m also curious as to how he’s gonna make that work in his universe. Also, Neytiri is a Tsahìk but she doesn’t seem all that spiritual and she doesn’t seem to know really any form of “shamanism.”

So they gave Varang this new beautiful mount, and she looks so kunt. I’m not watching this, but I hope this movie focuses on her and Neytiri. I’d hope Neytiri makes her see reason, but Neytiri better tear her ass up regardless. This is my Dance of The Dragons.

And this all started because a YouTube reel popped up saying Stu killed Tatum, and I vehemently disagreed. Unfortunately, I came across it on the onset of my Addies so I ended up hyperfocusing on it for like 4 hours. Today it was Avatar. Luckily it’s only been 2 hours so far though.

I feel like they do everything together, as they seem to have a really close relationship. However, Beyoncé’s silence on Palestine, Congo, Sudan, etc, has been very disappointing. Silence as a rule is great for stupid shit, but not human rights. There’s no neutral party/innocent bystander in this.
They should really hand out scripts after you watch a movie in theaters. 20 some odd years later, and reading the Scream script is providing so much nuance and understanding as to what’s actually going on. I wasn’t born when it came out, but I wonder how this could help with movies in general.

This is probably the worst part of the book. The demonization and total misinformation regarding Set is pissing me off. Also, there’s the subtle homophobia. It was written in the 70s though, so I’m not surprised.
