I've lived in the east end of Pittsburgh for five years and I'm still perpetually thrilled with having the option to get to work and do errands on foot. There is still *so much* room for improvement, especially in terms of maintaining our sidewalks and stairs, but I'm still pleased overall
Suburb planning is so fucking cool dude, I love to walk the median strip because there’s no sidewalk on the side of the street with my destination

I sort of expected my trans friends to kidnap me in the middle of the night and take me to the nearest informed consent clinic after reading this piece, and I am honestly a little disappointed???
