Today sucks, but hope is not lost. So many fellow ⚪s doomsdaying, giving unearned victories to R's (ex we won't have midterms for abc reasons). Our white fragility at the slightest bit of struggles when our black and brown neighbors have struggled for 100s of years is why we can't be trusted. /1

6 shows,3 days,2 cities. This originally included Swept Away but had to pivot. Went with Hamilton instead for the 1st time in NY (have seen the tour a few times). YTD 7 shows, staying on pace for 52 for the year. Now to head home and see a bunch of local/regional shows until next time in the city.

This translates really well to stage. A bit frentic because it's the full S1 story condensed to a 2 1/2 hour musical but it worked for me. This cast was also pitch perfect.

It's going to be a long fucking 4 years fighting propaganda and misinfo, and I'm already seeing folks I know with brains fall into immediate conspiracy theories that fit their confirmation bias without doing 30 seconds of reflection and research, taking memes and random semi-viral shit as fact.

if congress, who wrote the law requiring tiktok to divest, wanted to amend or reverse the law, they could. what biden did when signing a bill that had a veto proof majority is what the constitution required him of him, and there are a lot of people who do not appear to want you to remember that.
