Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble. #goodtrouble
Celebrating these graduates is the highlight of my year. Left NV a week
early and drove 2000+ miles to celebrate the @ohiostatelaw.bsky.social class of 2025. Totally worth it. #gobucks

Almost all of my students showed up to an optional Q & A on Zoom and asked the BEST questions- Insightful, deeply knowledgeable, thoughtful.
It’s been another tough week but it’s almost over. Let’s end it by sharing good news. Here’s mine:

I helped a student get a great job this week.
every third post these days is just “this is so fucking terrible” with a link to some news story and they’re all 100% correct

Question for con law and legal writing folks: I had a conversation with a colleague about what to include in a chapter on constitutions in a legal writing textbook. What would you put in?

This is the rough outline I came up with, but it works much better for a con law book than a writing one.

This should not need to be said but given everything going on I'll say it anyway: thank you to everyone in my network who have chosen a career of public service. At a moment when working for your country is apparently under attack we see you, we appreciate you, we are grateful for you. 🇺🇸

Criticizing is fast and easy. Creating is slow and difficult.

The two hours you spent on a book or movie took someone two years to produce.

Anyone can tear down someone else's work. The true test of insight is whether you can help them improve it or build something of your own.

Not a quick thread but well worth the read.
And for any law students on here, this is why you should pay attention in Civ Pro.
A quick thread on the Paxton/New York telehealth- medication-abortion provider lawsuit just from the civil-procedure view of the whole thing. /1
