I'm a hard NO on the Republican spending bill. On cloture. On all of it.

When a wannabe dictator is trying to seize power, it must not be given to him.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

I know this is not legally exact, but...this is a breach of the full faith & credit of the United States of America.

It's a betrayal of the most basic contract between the people and the nation: you give the nation the gift of a lifetime of toil, and the nation will support you in your later years

Been thinking a lot lately about the idea of legacy. I feel like 50 years ago men cared about what others would think about them after they were gone. Now it seems they don’t. They feel free to be as evil and treacherous as they want because they don’t care at all about legacy

If I were a Democrat, and I saw Trump do a purge of high-level generals who were women and people of color and wouldn't be "yes men," I wouldn't vote to advance JD Vance's college friend for Secretary of the Army.

Throwing this out there… What if Warren Buffett bought the Washington Post back from Bezos?

He once owned ~28% (sold in 2014). Sure, it might not fit his strategy & probably be a loss, but he could save the once-stalwart pillar of journalism. Bonus: a win for freedom of the press. #WaPo #Buffett
