To be clear, I’m not suggesting it’s a free for all. Just that the point of law is ludicrous. What is and should be illegal is harassing, abusing, or assaulting someone - wherever it happens!

those occasions. Going into a bathroom with the intent of having a piss and leaving is obviously harmless and not illegal. This is why precisely zero cis men have ever been arrested for doing so. This obsession they have with bathrooms is just ridiculous.

I wish there was some consideration given to the fact that it’s never been illegal for a cis man to use the women’s toilets. It’s merely a social faux pas - and always has been. I’ve done it a couple of times by accident myself as every man has. It’s preposterous to suggest I’ve broken the law on

becomes near impossible with the currently available suite of tools. It would be entirely possible for Apple and Google to embrace the challenge and produce a robust set of controls built into the OS level if they had the will to do it. They could even make it completely hands off for the sake

of corporate web filters, it’s not straightforward to manage access appropriately for one child, let alone a number of children of different ages. Couple that with issue that blocking content on a child’s device doesn’t stop it being accessible to them on a friend’s device, and an effective solution

As somebody who has worked in technology for 25 years and a parent myself there is a huge gap in the market for a good solution to parental controls. The products available require too much technical knowledge on the parents’ side to be easy to use. And even for someone like myself, with experience

Yes, you’re probably right. I can see someone casually believing some of the GC nonsense out of ignorance, but it surely can’t be possible to get to the stage of being a full blooded activist without it being a mask off moment. And I suppose there’s probably is strong evidence of this:

becoming increasingly aware of the experiences of others that have pushed me in this direction. Some quite profoundly. So it’s definitely possible to have moments that cause significant change in your outlook. But can you become full-on obsessive transphobe from a starting point of decency? 🤷♂️

I think there’s probably a bit of both. There’s no doubt people go on a bit of a journey politically. Twenty years ago I was definitely a centrist, but I find myself in my late forties very firmly on the left. Looking back there are moments that have occurred in terms of personal experiences and
