part of what I like about Mamdani is his admission that housing affordability is a more complex problem than either building more housing or expanding rent control. You need to do both in order to protect the most vulnerable now and improve the problem long term.

The harassment is never going to stop as long as the companies give in. They're going to fire every person of color, everyone in the LGBT community, every woman, and that still won't placate the "trolls." I am well versed in American racism and I can tell you that Greene, Mace, and Boebert have neither tired of white supremacy nor the patriarchy and are simply bitter that they are no longer young enough, white enough, attractive enough or useful enough to reap the rewards of Bondi, Noem, and Kirk.
I'd be really curious if someone better versed in feminist theory wrote about what's happening on the right. Because between Greene, Mace, and Bobert, we've got this bloc forming of women who seem tired of serving a patriarchy of sex criminals. And their rhetoric is starting to lean that direction.
