Hey All: Google is pulling the "automatically on for anyone over 18" bullshit with Gemini that the Dropbox did for its AI, but I can't afford to ditch Google Drive/Docs/Workspace.
If you have a personal Google Account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off...

I want to add...it's actually better to repost rather than liking something. That way people who follow you see it, which is really important when there is no algorithm.
Bluesky doesn't have a proper algorithm so I'm definitely ok with people resharing their posts for other timezones to see. If there's anyone you really like on here, repost/like their posts so you can show support and help them feel motivated to stay on here. Lets keep this community active.
