My family lied about someone not being sick in order for me to see them (I wouldn’t have otherwise), and so now I have been sick for a week. They knew I am immunocompromised and still put me in danger knowing this.

The consequences are only for the “disposable” Black, Brown, and assorted non-conforming minorities who have to both navigate and survive their malicious whims.
So much of American history is just impulsive and extremely stupid elites, who don't believe in consequences because they have never personally experienced them, doing highly consequential stuff because they're bored or believe it might make them richer. I guess a lot of our culture, too.

Updating information: the Canto pronounciation is more close to “Gaa Yee” / “Gaa Ji” not Jiayi which is more pinyin / Mando.
Thank you for educating me as i do not speak Canto and would like to research as much as possible — language is extremely hard when you don’t speak it!
