My fave #AALS2026 moment so far? I'm walking down the road next to Caesar's, which is blaring "Little Red Corvette." I see a woman down the block I'm on. She starts dancing to the song. I start dancing back at her. We keep walking/dancing towards each other until we realize we recognize... 1/2

This also happens to be the start of the season for king cake. Carnival is a season and Mardi Gras is the last day! Get sone cake! Lots of folks like cakes from Dong Phuong. Try one, but I’ll be honest…they’re good but not my favorite.

TBH, I never go to Bourbon for anything. It’s smells, the food and drink are expensive and mediocre, and it’s full of super drunk gross tourists. If you insist on hanging out in the French Quarter, maybe do a quick walk down Bourbon and hang out on different streets close by.

Good heavens, I love Last Splash so much
I was deprived of that experience in my regional market. I knew Summertime, but it was like 1999 when I stumbled across Static in a used bin and bought it because a website said they were "dream pop" and I liked that. A top-ten used bin find, up there with Last Splash.
