Q: We've seen images out of Chicago of federal agents shooting faith leaders with pepper balls and arresting journalists. Where's the limit for you on what's acceptable conduct by federal agents?

MIKE JOHNSON: I've not seen them cross the line yet.

As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.

Trump has murdered 14 people in international waters in the last week and Vance is publicly telling jokes about it. So the Right will now call his employer and get him fired for making light of murder, right? MAGAs can get as many folks fired as they like, but he world knows *exactly* what they are.

President Trump has ordered another military strike — this time killing three individuals reportedly en route to the U.S. from Venezuela.

Officials allege the targets were part of a broader terrorist operation.

No additional evidence has been presented.

Political violence and threats are not the answer.

This is a watershed moment — we can choose to stay silent and live in fear, or we can choose to be loud for peace and compassion.

We must work together to stop this crisis, and it should start from the top with the President.

Calling it now: almost all the coming crackdown on progressive groups will be focused on those that provide funding, resources, research, knowledge, or assistance of other kinds to Democratic candidates, voters, and institutions focused on winning the midterm elections.

An authoritarian crackdown.

What Bondi and Pirro are learning is that trying to sell the same sh*t to a judge that you've been shoveling to idiot MAGAs who know nothing about criminal justice simply will not fly

Even as militant racism, MAGAism is nonsensical. When despicable bigots aim to try to “prove” the inferiority of women/nonwhites, you expect them to scour the US for unimpeachably decorated white men and (usually falsely) boast their CVs are X% “better.” Instead they keep hiring unremarkable jokers!
They just unilaterally replaced DC's black woman police chief with a white MAGA man

I am 78 & would be homeless if it were not for Medicaid paying a portion of my monthly fees at this assisted living place. I pay 76% of the fees with my Social Security check. Could not rent an apartment, pay utilities, buy food on my own. Or live on my own. I need the services offered here.
Medicaid, is the primary payor of 60% of nursing home patients. And yes, they watch TV or hang out because they're in NURSING HOMES.

Medicaid is the primary payer for over 6 in 10 residents in nursing facilities.

In case you doubted it, Karoline Leavitt confirmed today that the Trump administration knows nothing—nothing at all—about unhoused persons or homelessness.

They do not know how shelters work. They do not understand mental health or addiction services intake.

They are just going to arrest everyone.

A third thing can be true as well—he's only going to have this authority for 30 days, and no criminal justice professional in the United States would tell you that superimposing an entirely new Big Government hierarchy over a city police department can have any beneficial effect in that time period.
Two things can be true:

1) The President has legal authority over the D.C. police and the D.C. National Guard that he doesn't have *anywhere else* in the country; &

2) Even if this doesn't set a legal precedent, it sets an ominous *political* precedent for pretextually overriding local government.
