Obv those aren't my only feelings, but there's only so much space. I will likely go back to mostly cats, it's a small kindness I can give those who need a break, but let's be very clear this account stands with folks in LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodiverse, chronically ill, and many other communities.

I mostly use this account to post cats bc sometimes what a person needs is a space that is mostly pictures of cats. Sometimes what I need, working in a shelter, is a space where I can focus on the good instead of bad. That said, I am both viscerally and objectively disappointed in my country today.

As @kurtbusiek.bsky.social points out, he and I helped produce a comic as teenagers in 1978 for the Boston Pops Orchestra that *would* put us at 45 years, but since it was free, let's go with Issue #1 of my comic book ZOT! in the spring of 1984.
