This is unsurprising. When I first started on the patch in 2012, they needed two MWDs (workers) per rig. By the time I moved job two years later, one MWD was responsible for four rigs, via remote platforms etc. I was almost completely automated out in a tiny period of time.

Question: Clive Palmer’s clown show is running garish ads everywhere saying ‘We don’t need to be welcomed to our own country’. Are they so pig-ignorant that they still don’t know what ‘welcome to country’ actually means, or are they doing this on purpose to whip up more racist outrage?

My God, has anyone heard Trump on the radio today talking about the tariffs he so obviously doesn’t understand? He sounds like an insane ten-year-old, hitting up the smaller kids for their lunch money.

I never could have imagined myself saying this, but I’m starting to feel a bit sorry for Melania. Surely no amount of money could compensate for that level of ongoing disgust and humiliation, not even for her.
