"You can dig a hole in front of my door and I will vanish", is what Kastute told to the soviet authorities. Rather than working for the collective farm, she chose a life of modest self-determination. She died only months before Lithuania gained back its independence from russia.
Musician, philosopher and "country music expert" Algis Fediajevas played at our festival in the lithuanian countryside last weekend. A shamanic experience! 😶‍🌫️🌑
Little throwback to the concert "Shamanic Acoustic Psychedelia" of Algis Fediajevas last Saturday in the former culture house of Kriaunos in Lithuania at Vague Wagon Art Festival.

In the middle of nowhere, in north-eastern Lithuania, stands empty the old culture of Kriaunos. Last year we organized a first exhibition with Violeta Bubelyte, Alvydas Lukys and others. This year we hosted a small festival, and we hope this was just the start.

I’m so goddamn tired of those who should know better - professors, journalists, public intellectuals - not just downplaying what’s happening in the US but actually repeating right-wing talking points and framing that as “sensible” or moderate. I am so angry. Shame on all of you. You are complicit.

If you ever wondered how the KGB manipulated foreigners and got them to repeat Soviet propaganda, spend some time listening to Steve Witkoff talk about his wonderful conversations with Vladimir Putin.
