The elusive colossal squid — the world’s heaviest known invertebrate — has been filmed in deep-sea waters in footage confirmed by scientists for the first time, a research institute said Tuesday.

Yesterday, the U.S. Dept. of the Interior directed the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to use its authority to halt construction activities at the Empire Wind offshore wind project off Long Island, NY.

This is short-sighted, expensive and will only harm our ocean and all of us.
