Abughazaleh: I think Kristi Noem should be tried at The Hague. And if the response from ICE to people exercising their first amendment right is to drive vehicles through them, they should not be an agency in the US.

Mike Johnson voted “no” on that.

I’m no lawyer, but if a president doesn’t support the Constitution, then maybe he should just run for mayor instead. We’ve got a country to run, not a guessing game about the rules. If a president’s not sure if he’s supposed to support it, maybe it’s time we put the ‘fine print’ in big bold letters.

They had lawyers, trials, most were given pretrial release, allowed to testify in their own defense, got discovery, could call witnesses, could cross-examine witnesses, could present mitigation at sentencing, and had a right to appeal.
