Misses the route cause

Russia - have people not caught up with the massive propaganda war and direct interfernce in our politics and media

We at war with them on everything but the battlefield

They are stoking problems, affecting our economy to stoking immigration.

And the meme says it all

'O see you not yon narrow road,
So thick beset with thorns and briars!
That is the path of righteousness,
Though after it but few enquires.

I have my beautiful home-made haggis in the pan.
I have bashed some neeps and buttered them well.
I made the tatties likewise.

Most importantly of all, we have a dram of whisky in hand, and Rabbie's poems reciting, before we set forth the plates o' puddin'

Why does Rees-Mogg avoid vegetables?
Why does Nanny not enforce greens?
Its a mystery.

Snow is falling here 😕
Mild and dry weather all through autumn, and now suddenly its snow?
I can't recall when we last had snow in November this far south. Usually its not until January, if at all.
Not even had an air frost yet.

So many new people arriving here.
I'm searching though the crowds in vain for
Simon Schama, Mary Beard, Hannah Fry, and a bunch of architecture groups and folks I follow in that other place.

If you love puns and wit, go read the whole thread
Shakespeare for the 21st century...

7. “To even, or can’t even, that is the question”
6. “All that glisters is not goals”
5. “Out, dammed Spotify!”
4. “As You, like, Like It”
3. “Romeo, Romeo, WTF Romeo?!”
2. “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your earbuds”
1. “Alas, poor Yorick. He got ratio'd”

Dear God, I don't believe you are real. If I'm wrong, here is your chance to prove it. You still have until January to provoke a major cardiac incident in you-know-who. Otherwise, we shall Abandon Hope in 2025.

Browsing the spirits shelves at supermarket in search of Kirsch for cooking, I spy some strange items. I don't drink spirits, so these new outlandish flavours are unfamiliar.

Marmalade Vodka?
Is that for breakfast?

What to make of Pineapple Rum, Melon Gin, or Raspberry Tequila Cream Liqueur?
