Before today I would have said most people who will watch the new Harry Potter series won't be aware of the fact that JKR is vehemently anti-trans.

I take it as a very good sign that I haven't heard the BBC this resentful about the entire subject in quite some time, for years it's been wall to wall gloating and now groundwork is being done for future arse covering. The framing of this article feels cautious because we all know what's coming.
