A wonderful studio with beautiful pieces. I have one of the sheep prints in my foyer!
Now if all the 20 million BlueSky users will re post this post it would be utterly marvellous. The counter is ready to start, so off you all go!

I signed as an art lover, wife of an artist, and mother of an artist. Won’t you join me?

Heartbreaking
Due to the freeze on credit card use, my laboratory (in the FDA) risks losing the contents of our liquid nitrogen tanks which store INVALUABLE samples-they cannot be replaced, so they are literally priceless, and reflect about 50 years worth of research.

Hats off to @WIRED.com which is doing hugely valuable, dogged, deeply alarming reporting on the young coupsters of DOGE. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

I prefer not to bring politics into this account, but it's critical that US citizens make noise about this situation. So I offer a suggestion about what you can do on Monday morning, based on working on the periphery of Congress years ago.🧵

NPR is absolutely reliable. While my daughter was small this was my main source of news as we didn’t watch tv. I’d drop her off at school and listen to NPR on the way home. The weekend shows were always wholesome and amusing, full of Americana. I don’t spend so much time in the car now but ❤️ NPR!
Our local NPR station (BPR) was the only reliable source of emergency information for over a week in western NC after Helene. Everyone I know tuned in on battery-operated radios to get critical information about how to source food, water, meds, how to help w/ search & rescue, etc. They are heroes.
NPR has spent the last few years softening its coverage to appease Republicans and here's their reward
