I'll Die On This Hill Time: Teenagers are still children, no matter what Riverdale and other modern media might suggest. If a 6'3" kid comes to your door with a mustache and is costumed and polite, they deserve candy and kindness just as much as the kindergartners do.

I saw a review of the new season that said it wasn’t good because it was too into fan service and should have taken more risks to upset fans and I was like……you deeply do not understand this show and should not be reviewing it.

Not only is this absolutely right in principle, but I can assure you it is SO MUCH EASIER to make readers feel pain, sorrow, or horror than it is to uplift, make them joyful, or get a proper laugh.
Tragedy is just easier than comedy, probably because people have more to cry about.

Reminder: there is loads of evidence that the COVID spike protein is an extremely potent mast cell histamine liberator even for people without MCAS. Taking 50mg diphenhydramine 15 minutes before your booster or a double dose of Claritin/Allegra/etc 2-3 hours before will help you fee less like shit.
I have successfully taken my own advice re: premedication for the Covid booster and am pleased to announce that I am NOT in level 5 The Fucking Flush and I do not feel like death warmed over, and I'm just hitting the window of when I'd start feeling it if I'd fucked up the premedication
