Way to go, Philadelphia! The city has introduced new legislation putting real limits on ICE activity. Federal agents will no longer be allowed to operate anonymously no masks, visible identification required, and arrests must be backed by warrants signed by a federal judge.

Just had a look at TikTok and, while there is plenty about the ICE crimes and violence there is very little analysis and more recent material. It looks like they are using “under review” as a suppression and delay strategy for anything anti-Trump/ICE/fascism.

In the past I have rolled my eyes internally at the phrase "we keep us safe" - but that's literally all we have right now as the federal govt executes our neighbors in public, on video, and lies about it. Local and state government appearing powerless to do anything about it.
