I’m trying to set an example for my eight-year-old daughter. I wasted most of my life hating my body & self—& it benefits mediocre men for women like me to have low self-esteem. but I refuse to make my daughter watch me downplay my accomplishments & bow down to men like this.

I keep seeing people say that less than 1 percent of mass shootings are committed by trans people.
That's somewhat misleading.
It's actually less than 0.1 percent.
More than 99.9% of mass shootings over the past decade were committed by non-trans people.
