Marvel’s Ultimate Universe has been a captivating & imaginative read with Ultimates has been the peak. It's a blunt, thoughtful book exploring how systems work to oppress us while also balancing a cast of diverse & relatable heroes. It’s cemented Deniz Camp as one of my new favorite writers.

it took me a long LONG time to internalize that "nothing is original" wasn't a jaded defeatist mindset
it's meant to set you free.

Now that Nintendo is embracing the "classic mario" aesthetic, more YouTubers need to become familiar with the names Yoichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. Kotabe solidified the 2D Mario look in the late 80s and early 90s, and Nakaue has been carrying that torch in newer games.

This is why I think it's important to say 'generative AI' or 'genAI' etc when complaining about fully automated luxury plagiarism machines. A lot of AI and machine learning is good! It benefits genAI companies and enthusiasts if, when you say 'AI sucks', they can pretend you mean this stuff too.
Using an AI tool, one additional case of cancer was spotted per 1,000 women screened. Crucially this was without increasing false positives - seems an excellent result
