This analysis sets out exactly why I joined the Green Party yesterday. Thank you @councilestatemedia.uk for this insightful piece, written without gloat, but with uncomfortable truth.

Factional infighting is going to destroy Your Party before it has even got started
There is something I’ve been thinking for a while, but have been reluctant to write down, but now it needs to be said: the launch of Your Party has been a complete and utter shambles.

An interesting and disturbing report on @channel4news.bsky.social about unsolved crime in Israel in Arab communities. The conclusion being that the police -part of the state- are quite happy to allow crimes to take place because Arabs killing Arabs is of no consequence.

The Labour Government is making a disastrous mistake with nuclear weapons expansion - this will not make us any safer.

This arrived this evening. I'll be honest, it was only a few years back that I discovered that Britain even has rainforest, pockets of Temperate rainforest.

"Temperate rainforest is actually rarer than the tropical variety: it covers just 1 per cent of the world's surface."

I've only just managed to watch the final of Celebrity Traitors! What a great show! Alan Carr amazed me and played an outstanding game as did Cat Burns. @davidolusoga.bsky.social came across as a genuinely decent, thoughtful fella. All in all , great entertainment and £87,500 for charity 😀

This is shocking news. The dates for the UCU strike action are in the article. I hope they get lots of support. Best wishes @ucu.org.uk

Trump never fails to amaze me with his breathtaking hypocrisy. He posted on Truth Social that BBC journalists tried to 'step on the scales of the presidential election' and ' on top of everything else they are from a foreign country -'what a terrible thing for democracy"
Can he hear himself ffs....

The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.

I had my disagreements with the BBC under Tim Davie but he was a decent man doing a difficult job.

To see Trump's White House claiming credit for his downfall and attacking the BBC should worry us all.
