There is a certain dignity in doing things one loves, doing them somewhat badly, but still being as proud as if you've won awards. No awareness of being pathetic, no 'what will people think?' Just: "Look what I made!" enthusiasm. #firstpost

She was hugging to herself the idea that someone actually disliked Fitzroy’s poetry for all the right reasons.
And for it to be his—the Lord Emperor’s—chief attendant, the head of his domestic household—oh, what a gift!

I set things on fire when my emotions were roused beyond control; I did not make storms.
Yet when I had tried, and nearly failed, to make my household see that I was a man, and not merely a god, it was a tempest I had called up, a wall of rain and a storm of winds.

36 Views of London - a FTH gift for thegildedbee is up on Ao3! A patchwork image of John & Sherlock’s London, as seen through their eyes. Slice of life. Snapshots. Shorts. Plot without plot (which I'm told is the good stuff) 😋🍰💕enjoy!

Fanfiction doesn't require constructive criticism unless expressly asked for by the author, and if you're rating a fic out of 10 in the bookmark - DON'T. Fanfiction is written and posted for free, you're not a literary reviewer and AO3 isn't fucking goodreads. This is evergreen advice. Pass it on.

King & Court is updating on AO3 tomorrow, but it updates on my Patreon earlier? Patrons in the $2 tier are 2 chapters ahead, while those in the $5 tier can read drafts all the way up to chapter 28 (and counting?) #BBCMerlin #Merthur
