My input on the modifier controversy in D2:
I appreciate Bungie trying to put in new modifiers, and especially that said modifiers are unique and force you to change things like your loadout and playstyle.

Settle an argument, peeps: what was the first game to feature a persistent "safe space" hub level, and which eventually gets invaded by the enemy to show that shit has gotten real? So far we've got Perfect Dark and Silent Hill 4 as early examples but there's gotta be earlier ones
