Physical AI is such a stupid term
Rise of the robots: the promise of physical AI.

Tech firms are pouring massive sums into physical AI, and Morgan Stanley predicts the world could have more than a billion humanoid robots by 2050

Early in my career PR comments filled me with dread, now the only thing I'm scared of is 'LGTM'

Issue we keep coming into lately, seems like a good idea first and then increasingly becomes a nightmare as the project grows and your CI/CD matures
I used to be in camp "with Serverless, application code belongs in the same repo as infra code". I have now defected to camp "please, please separate your apps and infra" for any non-trivial app. It will make your IDE faster, your code cleaner, and your AI smarter.

I've been really enjoying this Talos OS stuff

Anything you wanna add?

Actually, quite enjoyed watching Enys Men. No, there's not a lot to it, it is slow. But I just enjoyed the experience of it with absolutely no expectations, more like spending a lazy afternoon watching the world through your window

Why do we keep building this crap? We don't have to. All it takes is a couple of engineers to say "nah this seems like a stupid idea" and this can all go away
This is such a hilarious failure of a product. Consumers both don't know why it exists and hate it at the same time.
This is a hilarious way to say “we haven’t figured out how to make AI do anything useful”

But the math department is not the business school, and the work done there---much of it more philosophical than an intro to Hegel course---does not deserve your scorn. do not let the construction of "STEM" as a (frankly tenuous) concept allow them to slice academics up into a house easily divided
