“How is AI any different than artists taking inspiration from other artists’ works?”

The printing press is invented in the 15th century. Copyright law comes into existence in the 18th century. Why doesn’t copyright law predate the printing press? 1/7

The way I know the president isn’t running things is because “big“ and “beautiful“ are two of the only adjectives he has access to in his limited vocabulary, which inserts as placeholders when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Ergo “Big Beautiful Bill” = I have no idea what’s in this.

In the last two months Tesla has lost a quarter of its value and Musk is down $100b, and there’s millions of people gullible and well-trained enough to think he’s busting open the federal piggy bank because he just cares so much about efficient operations.

That time Biden accused Republicans of wanting to cut Medicaid and they howled like monkeys at the zoo. At one point the camera cuts to Mike Johnson sneering and shaking his head.

The argument for the Democrats is that they’re the only viable alternative to this. The argument against the Democrats is that they behave like they know they’re the only viable alternative to this.

In case my last post was too oblique let me make an amazing psychic prediction: after zero review, Musk is going to magically find out that all the people in charge of regulating Tesla and SpaceX or who are in any other way standing between him and the government’s money are low performing workers.

Hey real quick, just wondering if anyone’s asked the ketamine addicted billionaire who supposedly has six other jobs while spending all day playing video games and scrolling Twitter how he’s planning to review manditory self-reporting performance emails from 4.5 million federal employees? Thanks bye

These are the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Trump has now replaced the woman and the black guy (the Chairman) with white men, in what the media is calling a “shake-up” or an “overhaul,” instead of what it transparently fucking is.

The guy who wouldn’t have a pot to piss in if it weren’t for government subsidies and loans and bailouts is now magically an expert on government efficiency, say incredibly gullible people with the reading comprehension of seven-year-olds.

I just realized why conservative Youtubers are always in their cars, it’s because they’re listening to right wing talk radio and they have to regurgitate what they heard before they forget it.

Based on the past few weeks I’m 100% convinced he has no idea how to make a car, he just shows up and pulls this bull in a china shop routine and genius engineers have to make it make sense because he can ruin their lives.

They’ve already figured out how to blame egg prices on Biden because of bird flu. It’s just like with the last pandemic, anything that Trump fucks up immediately becomes a conspiracy masterminded by his deadly enemies.

Because their idea of “tyranny” is civil rights.

If Biden had tweeted "Today I decided I'm the UFC champion so send me the belt and some ice cream" everyone would've gone "lol no" so I don't get why yinz all treat Trump like a Make-A-Wish kid

There’s a saying that “a conservative is someone who will shit his own pants if he thinks a liberal will have to smell it.” Watching them happily gloat about the theft of their own social security and banking data is really bearing that one out.

I think the way to understand what Musk is doing at the treasury is “LOOTING.” Musk doesn’t gaf about government efficiency, his companies have been floated by government all along, and all his wealth is speculative. 1/2

Something I think people should consider: if you’re going to rationalize what this regime is doing with “maybe we do need to revisit DEI/Civil Rights/immigration/gender” etc, you’re not demonstrating that they’re not fascists. You’re demonstrating the extent to which you’re willing to go along.

I can never understand this thing where calling Trump a racist is supposed to be akin to calling him a werewolf or a hobgoblin or something. It’s not some rare mythical thing, it’s most common thing in the world. It’s the most normal thing for a 78 year old white guy from Queens to be.

Feels like someone in the Trump orbit reached out to the billionaires and corporations and media outlets and said “hey do you guys actually believe any of that stuff about social responsibility or do you just care about money, because it’s time to pick a side.” And they all went “social what now”

Y’all are just haters, anyone could have accidentally made that gesture and then turned around and did it again so the other side of the room could see it.

When it was the Obamas it was a “terrorist fist bump” but when it’s Musk it’s “who knows why he put his arm out like that, it could mean anything.” We fucking see you.
