I trust Reeves but switching from Grieg Fraser to Erik Messerschmidt as DP for THE BATMAN 2 feels like a big downgrade, no disrespect to the latter. It’s just that Fraser’s work was so crucial to that first movie’s beauty. See, also, how flat THE PENGUIN often looks by comparison.

I’m late to the QT Dano thing but it sounds to me like QT probably actually wanted to work with Dano on something at one point and Dano turned him down, and QT took that personally and has beef now. It’s very childish and weird. Anyways it’s always safe to ignore QT when he speaks about anything.
