Seems more like the whole point of the federal gov’t’s ‘review’ of the EPBC Act is precisely to enable similar dysfunctional NSW legislation. Yay to effective bi-partisan vested-interest donors crippling environmental protections.

I’ll be quite cross if the PM for one second agrees to paying a cent of ‘compensation’ to Nucoal for their self-inflicted loss. Btw, does Nucoal even pay tax here.

Jason, I’ve still got the stickers on my bins becoz the LNP are STILL wallowing in the same climate denial/fossil fuel quagmire since forever. (Not that the ALP are much better - they’re making equally appalling fossil fuel decisions while claiming ‘climate science’)

🤔 So 90K crowd estimate is at odds w/ 250k Reconciliation March in 2000 which somehow didn’t have ‘public safety’ issues at North Sydney?
Sunday was bigger, also peaceful, no incidents, no arrests -maybe thx to the ppl.
To MPs, the public voice is clear.
