NACC…sigh. Punters rapidly concluding the only effective part of it is NACC Inspector Gail Furness’s internal investigations

I’ll be quite cross if the PM for one second agrees to paying a cent of ‘compensation’ to Nucoal for their self-inflicted loss. Btw, does Nucoal even pay tax here.

THIS is why the NSW govt must not weaken the NSW ADG in the Housing SEPP push under the guise of ‘housing crisis’. Not one window in a whole level of habitable rooms - Victoria. It matters!

More good work ALP, brazen duplicity in approving the outrageous Woodside project while ‘claiming’ the huge risk & costs of NOT ACTING ON CLIMATE. Honestly, the vast number of young punters need to really punish both parties next election

Sunday’s March for Humanity was biggest ever?
🤔 So 90K crowd estimate is at odds w/ 250k Reconciliation March in 2000 which somehow didn’t have ‘public safety’ issues at North Sydney?
Sunday was bigger, also peaceful, no incidents, no arrests -maybe thx to the ppl.
To MPs, the public voice is clear.

Fossil fuel industries: confident the Minns govt’s enabling BAU for new coal projects. Punters: NSW cannot seriously be thinking it’s OK granting even more coal exploration licenses in 2025
August 4, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Chris Minns, a punters’ thoughts:
1) Pro-gun lobbyists Shooters&Fishers should not be dictating feral pest control
2) Randoms roaming around at night with guns & silencers?
3) Feral pest control is needed via properly funded evidence-based govt programs
4) Don’t pave a pathway for US gun culture.

FWIW
It’s very bad having a Labour HoR uber-majority doing Senate deals with the LNP.
They’ll align 100% for self interest & fossil fuels.
Look no further than deals that bolster their 2-party power:
1) NACC = eroded transparency
2) Donation laws = intent to eliminate Indis & voter/public interest

And the cycle way/walkway beyond working a treat yet again as designed to allow waters through. Good design, public architecture for a public city really matter.

Excellent, the march of MORE coal mine expansions continues unabated in NSW

Paul Kelly belling the cat:
“fear is that the cultural & structural defects that ruined the Coalition in 2022 have not healed but still exist to deliver another damaging Coalition result in 2025. The question is: Have the Liberals been deceived by a political mirage, abetted by their media backers?”

Seems like quite a large area of potential for environmental impacts wanting approval from a govt who so far just says ‘yes’ to everything fossil fuels ? :/

Public shaming notices for companies convicted of serious environmental pollution offences really need a mandated huge headline font size…

NuCoal AGAIN try to transfer what was their own PRIVATE loss onto taxpayers! Just Stop!
ICAC: NuCoal “acquired the company w/ knowledge of the public controversy surrounding the licence & that investors in NuCoal 'must have acquired their shares in that company w/ an awareness of those risks'”
March 27, 2025 at 6:27 AM
