Years ago, I had an actual meet cute in the street (Shaftesbury Avenue in fact). I gave him my number and by the time I got home that evening he’d left a bunch of increasingly unhinged messages, with the last being he didn’t want to go out with me anyway and I didn’t know what I was missing 🥴
