Probably my favourite Paul Thomas Anderson movie. Certainly the one I enjoyed the most.
Funny, intense, captivating, heartwarming.
Sean Penn will surely get an Oscar nomination, but all involved gave great performances.
Highly recommended.

Probably my favourite Paul Thomas Anderson movie. Certainly the one I enjoyed the most.

Just rewatched Freaky Friday for the first time in... 20 years? Maybe. It holds up. Like, really holds up. Even more excited for Freakier Friday this weekend now. Noticed that tonnes of cast has returned, all the way from the leads to many of the supporting players. Even Stephen Tobolowski's back!

Having a pour of Canadian Club 100% Rye and it's remarkable how different it is from Lot No. 40, which is also 100% rye. The CC is milder, much less floral. Closer to the traditional Canadian flavour profile. Goes to show how versatile a grain rye is, and why it's so commonly used in Canada. #whisky
