He’s no longer “flirting.” He is lawlessly and flagrantly defying the court right now. We are in a constitutional crisis, full stop.
News Analysis: President Trump has refused to return a deported migrant. Scholars say he’s now flirting with a lawless defiance of court orders, a path with an uncertain end.

Massive encroachment by Bezos into The Washington Post’s opinion section - makes clear dissenting views will not be published

I still have not felt encroachment on my journalism on the news side, but if Bezos tries interfering with the news side I will be quitting immediately and letting you know

With Trump’s grotesque war on immigrants, who are the backbone of food production in this country, his absurd trade war with Canada and Mexico, and the ongoing bird flu crisis, the food supply chain will be in chaos in the US in a very short period of time.

Dems can:

-oppose all Trump nominees until this EO is withdrawn
-deny unanimous consent to slow senate proceedings
-vote no on all cloture
-force quorum calls at every chance

It’s a constitutional crisis. There is absolutely no reason the Senate should be connecting business as usual.

When insulin was first patented in 1923, the discoverers declined to put their names on it as they felt that insulin belonged to the public.

101 years later, insulin is inaccessible to thousands of Americans because of price gouging by near-monopoly private insurance corporations and their PBMs.
BREAKING: CVS Health, UnitedHealth Group and Cigna are suing the Federal Trade Commission, claiming that the agency going after drug middlemen over high insulin prices is unconstitutional.

Congress needs to act immediately during this recess to amend the Insurrection Act to prevent this illegitimate use of the US military on American soil to build internment camps and round up without due process whomever the new regime designates as personal non grata. This is outrageous.

We must reject politicians—and their consultants— who have no core values and who are willing to throw victimized people under the bus. Every so often we need to dust the cobwebs off Niemöller's poem, “First They Came.” It’s resonant once again in the United States of America.
It's not just magical thinking. It's mean thinking. We need to continue to stand up for human and civil rights. Only one party does.
